THE OPPORTUNITY
The Fulfillment Specialist will be responsible for managing the order fulfillment process for the company. This includes receiving, processing, and shipping orders to customers, as well as managing inventory and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. They must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they may need to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and have knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Load, unload and move materials within warehouse as well as maintain clean and organized warehouse
  • Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse environment
  • Unload materials from pallets, racks and shelves by hand or forklift
  • Receive, unpack and examine goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments
  • Keep records of goods shipped
  • Prepare products for shipment and ensures that all orders are complete and accurate and that the highest quality of service is maintained. Expectation is that 99.6% of orders are to be complete and accurate
  • Communicate with other departments, staff groups and customers any changes to policy and procedures in the warehouse
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels and report necessary shortages or overages to responsible parties
  • As required, communicate using any means possible with customers to monitor the quality of delivery
  • Manage escalated customer issues in a professional and timely basis.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports and statistics on the status of the warehouse business
  • Consistently update department heads and sales agents on any anomalies that may have a negative or positive impact to the business
  • Hold all employees accountable to all codes of standard presented by OSHA

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving and/or warehouse environment.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a fulfillment or logistics role, particularly experience with inventory management and order processing systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications in particular; Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of FedEx/UPS software applications
  • NetSuite and CRM skills desirable.
  • Experience in tracking inventory on a quarterly and/or yearly time frame.

WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING

  • Expected annual salary range of $20 to $21.50 per hour depending on experience and education.
